Copenhagen/NewDelhi: A Public Discussion Paper on prospects of CBDC in financial access programs for the underbanked was released today by the Open Council.
“How will an open source cbdc take shape in the context of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) plans to launch one? How will the future look like?”
This public discussion paper highlights these prospects in the backdrop of data privacy reforms, and fintech innovation, taking place in one of youngest & largest socio-economic population on planet Earth.
“CBDC is possibly an important upcoming indicator for global and regional co-operation between states, economic unions & transnational co-operatives.”
